With just one touch on the lock screen, smartphone users can be directed to Seoul’s official news site.

Seoul is the latest to join the Android app, alongside T-Money, OK Cashbag, Cj ONE, LG U+, Syrup Wallet, BC Card, and Hana Members.

With the mobile app boasting a monthly user base of 4.7 million, the Seoul Metropolitan Government is hopeful the initiative will help raise the number of visitors to its news website.
