Seoul’s Seocho District Opens Animal Protection Center

SEOUL, Dec. 5 (Korea Bizwire)Seoul’s Seocho District announced on Tuesday that the new Seocho Animal Care Center is now open.

The center is a two-story building managed by three animal care professionals located near the Yangjae stream providing consultation services for pet adoption, beauty care for pets, meeting rooms, and cafes.

The center will be responsible for locating and returning lost pets and putting abandoned pets up for adoption.

Applicants for adoption will be trained on correcting pet behavior and sign a written oath to neuter and vaccinate their pets in the three months after adoption.

The Seocho District Office has entered an agreement with two local veterinary clinics to manage the lost and abandoned pets.
