Seoul’s Seocho District Publishes Tourist Map for Young Travelers

SEOUL, Feb. 13 (Korea Bizwire)Seoul’s Secho District has published a tourist map for young visitors, compiling tourist hotspots on a single page.

The Seoripul Street of Musical Instruments is home to some 210 music hotspots including Seoul Arts Center, musical instrument vendors and workshops, and small theaters.

The Seoripul Youth Art Center hosts a variety of classical music performances and the Seoripul Youth Cultural Program supports local musicians and producers.

The Seorae Village Café Street, also known as “little France in Seoul”, is home to various restaurants and bakeries decorated with various recognitions from Michelin and Blue Ribbon.

The Paris 15th Arrondissement Park is also located in the district, honoring the friendship with Seocho’s namesake partner district.

The Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain was listed in the Guinness World Records as the world’s longest bridge fountain in 2008. The bridge’s light show is a popular draw among tourists, with rainbow-colored jets of water moving in sync with music.

42.9 percent of all visitors to Seocho District last year were in their 20s and 30s, according to the Visit Korea Data Lab.
