SEOUL, May 6 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics’ Suwon Samsung Digital City R&D complex was transformed into a theme park on May 5 to celebrate Children’s Day.
Various events, such as water slides, cart racing, b-boy performances, sand animation and illusionist shows were held at the complex for 63,000 Samsung employees and local families.
Samsung Nano City complexes in Yongin and Hwaseong were also decorated into day-run theme parks, welcoming 77,000 local residents with a flower festival.
While Samsung Green City in Gwangju invited 45,000 people to its Children’s Day party, Samsung Smart City in Gumi was also transformed into a theme park, surprising its 20,000 visitors with a 15-meter long tram car.
