SEOUL, Jan. 16 (Korea Bizwire) — Shinhan Financial Group ranked 36th on the list of Top 500 Banking Brands in a recent issue of The Banker. Shinhan also kept Korea’s no. 1 banking brand position on the list for the fourth consecutive year, and ranked 9th out of the top 10 brands in Asia.
Shinhan got high valuation points from the magazine editors for its high performance record among Korean financial groups, and its sustainable operation. ‘Financing with a Heart,’ Shinhan’s signature slogan and a core component of its operating strategy, was also appreciated in the evaluation of the ranking. Shinhan Group is also the first Korean financial group ever to be included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index two years in a row.
