SEOUL, Feb. 2 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korean fashion and cosmetics retailer Shinsegae International Inc. unveiled new sneakers made through a collaboration with American hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg.
The company said it will start selling #PLEINDOGG, a sneaker collection that Swiss luxury sportswear brand Philipp Plein developed in collaboration with the U.S. rapper.
Philipp Plein, founded by the German namesake creator, is famous for its extravagant decoration and signature crystal skeleton patterns, and has built a solid fanbase.
Snoop Dogg participated in the entire production process, including product planning and design, Shinsegae International said.
The sneakers are a high-top style with the front decorated with Philipp Plein and Snoop Dogg initials.
