SINAN, Nov. 18 (Korea Bizwire) — Experts at the International Symposium on Migratory Birds, held in Sinan County, South Jeolla Province from November 11 to 13, were amazed by the level of preservation at the Sinan mudflats.
Officials from the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat, one of the world’s leading mudflat preservation agencies, and experts from Australia, China, and other countries were present at the symposium.
“We were able to see with our own eyes the health and superior quality of the mudflats,” said the experts. “The Sinan mudflats are of the quality seen nowhere else in the world.”
The Sinan mudflats, unlike European mudflats, are still in the making, the only place in the world comprised of slime, sand, and rocks.
