SEOUL, June 22 (Korea Bizwire) — SK Energy Co., South Korea’s leading oil refinery and gas station operator, introduced Muffin, a newly developed integrated automobile management platform on Monday.
Users can pre-register their license plate number, fueling patterns (type of fuel, amount, and price), and means of payment on the Muffin app to enable fuel orders and payment all with the simple input of a license plate number at the gas station.
SK Energy also introduced ‘Voice Refuel’, which uses voice recognition technology to enable a so-called ‘untact’ filling service.
Entering a gas station with Bluetooth enabled on a smartphone enables the driver to voice activate the filling service via the Muffin app.
