SEOUL, Oct. 5 (Korea Bizwire) — The Korea National Tuberculosis Association announced Tuesday the release of this year’s Christmas seal starring South Korean football star Son Heung-min.
The seal shows Tottenham Hotspur forward playing in a football game.
Revenue generated by Christmas seal sales will be used to help tuberculosis patients among vulnerable social groups, support young tuberculosis patients receive treatment, conduct research on tuberculosis and send aid to less developed countries.
This year’s fundraiser aims for 3 billion won (US$2.11 million) based on the approval of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
