SEOUL, Dec. 17 (Korea Bizwire) — The World Institute of Kimchi announced Wednesday that the Kimjang Project, a website created to promote “kimjang,” the whole process of making kimchi, for the winter in Europe, has been listed on the UK Web Archive.
The British Library’s UK Web Archive is composed of professional curators and archivists who collect websites that represent national cultural heritage or contain international value.
The Kimjang Project has been listed in the Web Archive’s Food History section.
The project introduces kimchi and the kimjang culture as well as various types and features of kimchi from different regions in South Korea. The website also offers recipes for various cuisines cooked with kimchi.
