GWACHEON, South Korea, Aug. 19 (Korea Bizwire) – Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Gwacheon National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art has put together a special exhibition titled ‘As the Moon Waxes and Wanes’, covering all eight of its galleries.
Split into three main themes – interpretation, circulation and discovery – the exhibition will highlight the fate of a piece of art and its lifecycle (time period, production, distribution, possession, preservation, extinction, and rebirth) through some 560 artworks that will be on display.
The exhibition will run for the next six months until February 12, with free admission for all visitors.
