SEOUL, Oct. 29 (Korea Bizwire) — “Do It Yourself (DIY)” kits for trying out various games from Netflix’s mega hit “Squid Game” are sweeping across Germany.
EasyCookAsia, a Berlin-based meal kit provider, released Korean game box this week, a DIY kit for trying out various games from the series, which has surpassed sales of other meal kits by a factor of 10.
Tied up in a ribbon, just like in the survival drama, the DIY kit consists of paper for making ttakji, sugar, and soda to make Korean-style sugar candy known as “dalgona”, a metal press, a metal frame, a needle, 20 marbles and two pouches.
The instructions provide thorough instructions on how to make and play with ttakji, how to make a dalgona and use a needle to pick out the shape and how to split into two teams to play marbles.
