SEOUL, Oct. 11 (Korea Bizwire) – Ssangyong Motor will hold a roadshow event called “GET IT LUV Korando Road Show” in South Korea’s six big cities, the company announced on October 10, apparently with an aim to engage customers, strengthen their loyalty, and emotionally tie them more closely with the company now owned by Indian SUV maker Mahindra & Mahindra.
The “Korando family,” embarking upon a nation-wide tour, will go through a sort of make-over to maximize each model’s merit as much as possible; “Korando C” will be upgraded to highlight its outstanding practicability with a roof-top tent and a camper trailer. “Korando Sports” will hit the road, bringing out its merit optimized for an outdoor lifestyle that an increasing number of people are dreaming of these days.
“We will stage this roadshow as a chance to approach a step closer to our customers and continue to hold a variety of special promotional events,” said Choi Jong-shik, vice president in charge of Ssangyong’s sales division. Its first road show will be in Ilsan on the northwestern outskirts of Seoul on October 12. Girl group 4Minute will have a guerrilla concert and a fan-signing event.
