Starbucks Korea Signs Agreement to Help Small Cafes

SEOUL, March 31 (Korea Bizwire)The Ministry of SMEs and Startups said Wednesday that Starbucks Korea had signed an agreement with the National Commission for Corporate Partnership and the National Cafe Owners Association.

Under this agreement, Starbucks Korea will develop drinks using local agricultural produce before sharing these recipes as well as providing raw materials to small cafes, aimed at encouraging its customers to visit these small businesses.

In addition, Starbucks Korea will support facility repair for the small cafes that have difficulty making ends meet or are located in regions that need emergency support due to disasters.

The National Commission for Corporate Partnership will promote exchange activities on a regular basis through the large and small cafe business win-win council, while frequently checking the progress of win-win programs.
