Local fashion retail platform W Concept saw its sales increased by 36 percent between May 12 and June 11 compared to the same period last year.
Bikini sales experienced an even more substantial increase of 53 percent.
In addition to the rising popularity of wide denim pants and track pants in daily fashion, halterneck designs are also gaining traction, according to the company.
Among fashion consumers, vibrant colors such as red and pink are the most popular choices.
Musinsa, an online fashion mall, also observed a remarkable 177-percent surge in swimwear sales this May compared to the previous year.
Sales of fashionable swimsuits suitable for the beach, water park, and outdoor swimming pools, in particular, were six times higher than last year.
Lotte Department Store witnessed a significant 120-percent increase in swimsuit sales between January and April of this year in comparison to the previous year.
Additionally, they experienced a 15 percent sales increase during the month of May.
