Tallest Building in S. Korea is Lotte World Tower

SEOUL, March 9 (Korea Bizwire)As of 2021, the tallest building in South Korea was the Lotte World Tower in Seoul, and the building with the largest floor space was LG Display Co.’s factory in Paju, just north of Seoul.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Lotte World Tower is a 123-story building with a height of 555 meters, maintaining its position as the nation’s tallest building since it was completed in 2017.

Following the Lotte World Tower were the Haeundae LCT luxury apartment complex in Busan (101 stories, 412 meters), Yeouido Parc1 Tower in Seoul (69 stories, 318 meters) and the Posco Tower-Songdo in Incheon (68 stories, 305 meters).

LG Display’s Paju plant has the largest floor space (848,000 square meters), followed by Terminal 1 of Incheon International Airport (508,000 square meters), the Hwaseong Dongtan logistics complex (486,000 square meters), Starfield Hanam mega shopping mall (459,000 square meters) and Samsung Electronics Co.’ Hwaseong plant (456,000 square meters).
