PYEONGCHANG, Feb. 2 (Korea Bizwire) – With a little over a year left until the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, several test events will be taking place in the coming weeks.
There will be a total of 14 events hosted in 14 different disciplines until April 8, which will feature the participation of 1,515 athletes and officials from 135 countries. Some 10,000 volunteer workers will also be present at the events to assist athletes and visitors.
According to officials, the events will not only be an opportunity for athletes to experience the sporting grounds that they’ll be competing in, but also an important occasion for the host to promote the actual event that will take place next year.
