Seoul, Korea, Mar. 12 (Korea Bizwire) – To the great anticipation and interest of the expatriate community in Seoul, the Institute of International Education of Chung-Ang University has officially opened CAU KID’S GLOBAL CLUB to membership registration. Providing the foundation for the growth and development of children and the building of friendships, CAU KID’S GLOBAL CLUB is an intercultural youth club where children can gather together to participate in various sports and cultural activities.Instructed by a group of former professional athletes who have instructor certifications from official organizations in their respective fields (PGA, United States Golf Teachers Federation, Equine Canada, etc.), the launching of CAU KID’S GLOBAL CLUB comes with the opening of four exciting after school Club programs (Little League Club, Saddle Club, Mickelson Club, and Stanley Club) that have been specifically designed for children in Grades 3 to 6.

Club Highlights

Little League Club – A Saturday baseball program for children who want to have some fun playing baseball. The Club runs for 10 weeks, and all skill and competitive levels are welcome to join. Saddle Club – A horseback riding program, led by professional equestrian instructors, that is perfect for children who love horses and animals. Maximum 10 students per group lesson. Students learn everything from general knowledge about horses and horse care to basic horsemanship through mounted riding practice. Saddle Club runs for 10 weeks, and lessons begin on April 1, 2014. Mickelson Club – A golf program instructed by golf professionals and certified instructors for children who have an interest in trying golf. Maximum 10 students per group lesson. Students not only learn and practice their full-swings, pitching, chipping, putting, etc., but also have a chance to put their new skills to the test on a par-3, 9-hole course. Stanley Club – An ice hockey program coached by a former national team player for students of all levels and skating abilities. Maximum 22 students per group lesson with 2 instructors. Everything from basic skating skills to shooting skills and teamwork are taught in this Club. Stanley Club runs on Sundays for 10 weeks, and lessons and mini-games begin on April 6, 2014. CAU KID’S GLOBAL CLUB will also host a variety of fun CLUB Events throughout the year where children can come together, have fun, and even sometimes use their skills to compete for awards, as well as Intercultural Events that give children an opportunity to learn about their world and develop intercultural friendships by interacting with other kids their age and sharing in cultural experiences.

Giving children the same sports and activity experiences here in Korea that they had back home, CAU KID’S GLOBAL CLUB invites expat children in the Seoul Metropolitan area to come and join in the fun, and experience the global club culture that is CAU KID’S GLOBAL CLUB.
