TMON Pay Attracts 200,000 Subscribers in its First Month

SEOUL, April 7 (Korea Bizwire) TMON Pay, the proprietary simple payment system from Korea’s first social commerce provider Ticket Monster (TMON), has attracted more than 200,000 subscribers just one month after its launch.

TMON Pay enables payments in just three seconds by inputting a password whenever a subscriber purchases products at the social commerce site. To use the service, subscribers need to register their credit card information and create a six-digit password.

The notable feature of TMON Pay is that unlike other simple payment services, the installation of a separate smartphone app is not required. Users can register almost all credit card information with the TMON Pay app.

An official at TMON said, “As we began our iOS service from April 2, the sales portion of TMON Pay will rise continue to increase from its current 10 percent level.”
