SEOUL, Aug. 14 (Korea Bizwire) — Foreign Minister Cho Hyun held a phone conversation with his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Safadi, to discuss cooperation and current affairs, including the situation in Gaza, the ministry said Thursday.
The two top diplomats exchanged views on bilateral relations and the political situation in the Middle East, and affirmed their mutual understanding to strengthen cooperation in various fields.
According to the ministry, Safadi expressed his gratitude for Seoul’s long-standing humanitarian assistance and its contributions to the region’s stability.
The ministry also added the two agreed to maintain close communication and partnership on bilateral and regional matters whenever necessary.
