SEOUL, Aug. 24 (Korea Bizwire) – Travel agencies are coming up with the so-called “value travel” packages to attract customers in their 20s and 30s and bolster environmental, social and governance (ESG)-related activities.
Yellow Balloon Tour released a “1 Day Tour + 5 Day Free” travel package to Hawaii.
The package brings travelers to Kualoa Ranch, where the movie “Jurassic Park” was filmed, to try out various experiential programs like cleaning a hale, a Hawaiian traditional hut, and harvesting kalo, Hawaiian taro.
Travelers will stay at a resort hotel that plants trees on the island of Oahu with a carbon tax fund and minimizes unnecessary waste of resources by replacing sheets and towels only when there is a customer request.
Hana Tour released a five-day volunteer program in Laos, taking place in the capital city of Vientiane and Vang Vieng, a vacation destination.
On the first day of the program, participants will purchase volunteer goods at a local mall. On the second day, they will visit a small elementary school located in a slum in Vang Vieng.
Participants will spend time with local students, teaching them about sanitation, drawing murals, and playing “market games,” as well as giving out donations brought by Hana Tour.
