SEOUL, Nov. 26 (Korea Bizwire) — As the number of Southeast Asian countries that are opening their borders to fully vaccinated foreign visitors without quarantine requirements increases, travel agencies have moved to sell Southeast Asian tour packages using chartered flights.
Mode Tour released a new tour package for Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam using chartered flights. The five days, three nights tour package will be offered twice a week during the period from Dec. 25 to Feb. 26.
About 100 customers have already completed booking for the package.
Low-cost carrier Jin Air Co. plans to operate a charter plane service to Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia twice a week totaling 18 flights during the period from Dec. 26 to Feb. 24.
Hana Tour and Yellow Balloon Tour each plan to sell chartered flights on Korean Air to Phuket that will be offered twice a week during the period from Jan. 8 to Feb. 26.
Kyowon KRT is solely preparing to launch a chartered plane service to Bohol in the Philippines that will be offered during the Lunar New Year holidays.
