HADONG, Sept. 25 (Korea Bizwire) — A colossal pumpkin weighing 177 kilograms has been announced as the winning entry in a South Korean competition.
The pumpkin won the grand prize at the 4th Super Pumpkin Competition in Hadong County, South Gyeongsang Province, where participants are awarded for the biggest pumpkin of the year.
The super pumpkin was cultivated and harvested by Yang Jae-myeong of Uiryeong County.
Meanwhile, the winning pumpkins will be on display at the Hadong Bukcheon Cosmos and Buckwheat Festival until October 6.
