SEOUL, Feb. 19 (Korea Bizwire) — Throwing graduation caps will be a rare scene to witness this year as the coronavirus pandemic continues to rage on.
Most universities and colleges have decided to cancel, minimize, or hold graduation ceremonies online.
Pusan National University has cancelled its offline graduation ceremony and instead decided to distribute graduation certificates to each department between Feb. 24-26.
Jeonju University held a miniature graduation ceremony broadcasted online on Wednesday. Only 50 graduates attended in person.
Daegu University held an online graduation ceremony on Friday, screening videos of congratulatory remarks from the school dean along with messages and photos shared by graduates.
