Upcycled Benches Installed Along Cheonggye Stream

SEOUL, Dec. 12 (Korea Bizwire)The city-affiliated Seoul Facilities Corp. announced that it has set up benches made from upcycled plastic and masks along the Cheonggye Stream walkway in downtown Seoul.

The corporation signed an agreement with Lotte Chemical Corp. and Lowlit Collective to create two kinds of upcycled benches.

One type of bench was made with small plastic bottle caps, disposable spoons and chopsticks and plastic containers, creating 10 benches.

The other kind was made with byproducts from the process of manufacturing masks that were mixed with concrete, creating two benches.

The benches have been set up by Majeongyo Bridge, Hwanghakgyo Bridge and Biudanggyo Bridge along the Cheonggye Stream.
