SOKCHO, Jan.20 (Korea Bizwire) – A spotted shark giving birth in a water tank is creating a buzz on SNS.
A video clip of a shark giving birth in a water tank at the Sokcho Chungho Sashimi center is going viral.
The clip has been shared extensively, with comments such as “It is so cool to see a shark give birth” and “So curious to see a shark giving birth for the first time”. It has been viewed over 5,000 times.
The individual responsible for the video is So Mun-sup (51), whose wife is the owner of the Sashimi center. So commented that a shark was mixed in with the fish they bought at the docks. They put the shark in the water tank and a few hours later, So noticed a small shark that wasn’t there before. When So looked in the tank, he saw that the shark was giving birth.
The shark gave birth to 12 pups. So commented that since the water tank is too small for the sharks to live in, he will return them all to sea.
