TAEBAEK, Jul. 2 (Korea Bizwire) — Gangwon’s “Descendants of the Sun” Taebaek Film Set, where the mega-hit South Korean drama was shot, was bustling with visitors last weekend.
It was the first weekend after Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo announced their divorce.
A total of 675 people visited the set during the weekend, which was the highest record of the month. The number of visitors increased by 60 percent compared to the previous weekend when there were 420 visitors.
“Many visitors were worried that the set might shut down due to the divorce,” said a tour guide at the film set.
