Company to Simultaneously Release Vitrea.InnerVision at RSNA 2014
MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 20 (Korea Bizwire) – Vital Images, Inc. (“Vital”) introduces Version 6.7 of Vitrea(R) software, with new features and enhancements to its cardiovascular, neurovascular and oncology applications, as well as service, integration and efficiency enhancements. This latest version of Vitrea software will be shown at the 100th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America in Chicago, November 30 – December 4.
“We are pleased to be sharing Vitrea, version 6.7 with our customers at RSNA,” said Jim Litterer, General Manager at Vital Images, Inc. “It reflects our ongoing commitment to developing clinically meaningful applications and providing relevant and efficient diagnostic tools. Additionally, having Version 6.7 at our RSNA booth gives customers a hands-on experience of what’s new in Vitrea software.”
Designed with Vitrea’s foundation of ease of use and efficient information access, Version 6.7 features clinical enhancements to its applications with the common theme of increased efficiency and easy access to clinical decision support information. The Image Denoising functionality was enhanced to automatically smooth out uniform tissue while preserving edges, which gives users a clearer view of denoised images.
General and integration enhancements include improvements to Vitrea’s STL export functionality, providing flexibility to export from Vitrea for use in 3D printing capabilities, such as CAD modeling, computational modeling and surgical simulation. Version 6.7 also includes enhancements to partner technologies with Olea Sphere(R), Visia(TM) CT Lung CAD, Mirada RTX and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Cardiac Suite.
The company also introduces Vitrea.InnerVision simultaneously with the release of Version 6.7. Vitrea.InnerVision is a software monitoring solution that provides proactive diagnostic and resolution services to Vital customers. It is an enhanced service offering that continuously, remotely and securely monitors the health of Vitrea software and proactively alerts Vital of potential operational issues. The solution requires minimal customer involvement and helps resolve behind-the-scenes software concerns.
“Vitrea.InnerVision allows us to securely and non-invasively monitor system health continuously and proactively resolve issues, many times before our customers even realize there is an interruption of performance,” said Litterer. “This is the level of service every organization should strive to achieve.”
