SEOUL, Oct. 20 (Korea Bizwire)The Cultural Heritage Administration (CHA) announced that next year’s plan for its ‘Vivid Cultural Heritage’ program has been confirmed. The program uses the meaning and value of cultural assets as cultural content, to allow citizens to experience heritage vividly.

The CHA selected 88 businesses among 197 applications that were submitted from June to September, based on the superiority of their content, management systems, potential for continued success, and attainment.

Since it started in 2008, the ‘Vivid Cultural Heritage’ program has showcased cultural and natural assets, highlighting their features, and making the best use of the content.

As part of the program, old houses from the past dynasty will be opened. As well, programs to experience the government office of the past will open in Gangwon Province and Naju.

In addition, programs where participants can listen to traditional singing are available, with participants also having the opportunity to learn the art.

Further information can be obtained at the CHA homepage (www.cha.go.kr).
