WANJU, Aug. 4 (Korea Bizwire) - The 10th Wanju Cow Fighting Competition will be held on September 11 at the Wanju Sports Park.
The event will be held over a period of five days. One hundred “fighter cows” from all over the nation will participate. The cows will be divided into three groups, Baekdoo (over 771kg), Hangang (671 to 770kg) and Taebeak (600 to 670kg), and fight in a tournament.
Many other special events will take place at the competition, such as a milk tasting, Hanwoo (Korean beef) tasting, and discounts on Hanwoo products will be offered.
