SEOUL, April 6 (Korea Bizwire) – Project K-pop band Wanna One will launch its envisioned 13-city world tour on June 1, the group’s production company said Friday, announcing a detailed schedule for the tour.

On Tuesday, CJ E&M announced the group’s plan to hold the world tour titled “Wanna One World Tour – One: The World” but said it will unveil the exact dates and venues later.

According to the company Friday, the group, comprised of 11 winners of the popular survival reality show “Produce 101 Season 2,” will begin the tour with three concerts in Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome from June 1-3.

The tour will later take the band to the U.S. cities of San Jose (June 21), Dallas (June 26), Chicago (June 29) and Atlanta (July 2). They will later head to Singapore (July 13), Jakarta (July 15), Kuala Lumpur (July 21), Hong Kong (July 28-29), Bangkok (Aug. 4-5), Melbourne (Aug. 17), Taipei (Aug. 25-26) and Manila (Sept. 1). It will perform 18 times over the three-month-long tour.

Wanna One’s 2017 debut EP, “1X1=1 To Be One,” was one of the biggest launch albums of any K-pop act. It sold over 740,000 copies and the repackaged version, “1-1=0 Nothing Without You,” sold 614,072 copies, a remarkable number for a K-pop debut album.

Its second EP, “0+1=1 (I Promise You),” was released earlier this month, with preorders reaching over 700,000. The band was launched as a project set to last until the end of 2018.
