SEOUL, South Korea, Sept 23 (Korea Bizwire) – Social enterprise “Weenu” will hold a second “Art-up Seoul Festival” for two days between September 28 and 29 at Yoido’s riverbank park. The festival features a hundred artworks created from recycled electronic parts. Last September, Weenu had kicked off the first event with a theme of toys made of junk.

The participating artists will create their works on site, with everyone watching. Regardless of skill level, anyone can enter without any admission fee. To the participants, 20 tons of waste electronic parts will be given as material to work with. For three top winners, round-trip flight tickets to Berlin will be awarded as prize. The 27 runners-up will get the privilege of having their artworks displayed in a gallery.

All participants will have free lunch with free-of-charge junk material. They will be invited to a party after the event. The deadline to enter the event is 8 pm on September 21.
