SUWON, Nov. 15 (Korea Bizwire) – The World Toilet Association is scheduled to hold its fourth general meeting in Suwon to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The international organization dedicated to creating a toilet revolution is holding a general meeting next week at the Ibis Ambassador Suwon in Gyeonggi Province.
Some 150 participants from 22 countries are expected to attend this year.
Under the theme of ‘toilets with class’, high-profile speakers are set to present to attendees including Kim Jin-pyo, who is a member of the Democratic Party of Korea.
In addition, representative conversations and a conference on toilet cultures around the world will be held.
During the conference, both South Korean and international experts and scholars will announce findings from their research on toilet culture movements, including sanitary affairs in Africa and Bhutan.
The opening ceremony will feature a tribute video to the late former Suwon Mayor Shim Jae-deok, who founded the World Toilet Association and built a toilet-theme museum at his old house.
