SEOUL, June 4 (Korea Bizwire) — The Zero Waste Fashion Show took place at Seoul Plaza on Sunday afternoon, the day before Environment Day, June 5th.

The Zero Waste Fashion Show serves as the highlight of the ‘We Are Green Festival’ held at Seoul Plaza. A total of 40 professional models and seven citizen models showcased 60 eco-friendly outfits, including dresses made from repurposed banners, curtains or even bubble wrap material.

One noteworthy element of the event was the presence of the ’5R Movement’ banners held by the participating models, as well as Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, who attended the show. The ’5Rs’ represent the principles of “Refuse,” “Reduce,” “Reuse,” “Recycle,” and “Rot,” which offer practical ways for individuals to incorporate environmental protection into their daily lives.
