LONDON, Jul. 16 (Korea Bizwire) — Zipcar, the world’s leading car sharing network, today announced that Nicholas Cole has been appointed president, International. In this role, Cole will be responsible for driving Zipcar’s international expansion in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia and Australia, and for accelerating the Company’s growth in these key territories. Cole will replace Massimo Marsili, who has been appointed managing director, Western Region, Avis Budget EMEA.

Cole brings with him a wealth of experience in the transportation industry and a deep knowledge and passion for car sharing and the role it plays in shaping the future of urban mobility. Prior to joining Zipcar, Cole spent more than 15 years at Daimler AG, where he held a variety of senior roles across the company, most recently as president and chief executive officer of Daimler’s Car2Go car sharing subsidiary in North America.
