SEOUL, Aug. 28 (Korea Bizwire) — SK Networks Co. unveiled a new business operation dubbed “Mobility Bank” aimed at providing free commercial vehicle rentals to companies that cannot afford to rent their own.
SK Networks is planning to lend 50 of its Damas vehicles (produced by GM Korea) for free to companies lacking corporate vehicles by utilizing rentals that have been returned early to SK’s car rental arm.
For a period of two weeks from now until September 7, SK Networks will be accepting applications from social enterprises, cooperative unions, startups and entrepreneurs before selecting viable candidates to be confirmed in October.
Cars that are provided by “Mobility Bank” will be on loan for a period of one year, and include all of SK’s car rental perks such as insurance, maintenance, car management solutions and membership deals.
Candidates can apply for the service via SK’s car rental service’s official website at www.skcarrental.com by September 7.
