SEOUL, Jan. 1 (Korea Bizwire) — A South Korean government agency said Tuesday it’s set to publish an English-language book this week on mammals native to the peninsula.
The National Institute of Biological Resources, affiliated with the Ministry of Environment, will issue the illustrated guide, titled “Mammals of Korea,” on Wednesday.
It contains information on 127 species inhabiting Korea.
The government plans to distribute the book to major libraries, research centers, related administrative organizations and colleges at home and abroad.
A PDF version of the book will be posted on the institute’s website, www.nibr.go.kr, as well.
