ULSAN, Jul. 29 (Korea Bizwire) — Automated robot calf feeders are gaining popularity in the livestock industry.
The Ulsan Agricultural Technology Center reported on Saturday that it has introduced robot calf feeders at two farms in every year since 2017.
Robot calf feeders automatically control the amount and frequency of calf feeding based on the weight and age data stored in a collar worn by each calf.
The automated system prevents calves from suffering from indigestion or being overfed, while measuring their growth and feeding status.
Robot calf feeders offer feeding solutions tailored to the needs of each calf, and prevent diseases.
