SEOUL, Aug. 20 (Korea Bizwire) — The Gangnam District Office in Seoul said Thursday that it will run an ‘Academy for Correction of Pet Behavior’ for free for residents who are struggling with their pets’ behavioral problems.
Any resident within the district who wants to correct their pets’ behavioral problems such as the habits of biting, attacking or barking, can register at the academy.
The education will be carried out on a one-on-one basis with professional pet trainers at the applicant’s home or the location of their choice.
In addition, the district office is receiving applications for the professional pet trainer development course that it will operate from September 13 to mid-November.
The tuition is set at 100,000 won (US$85.30). If applicants complete more than 70 percent of the training program, get a job or start their own business, 100 percent of the tuition will be refunded.
