SEOUL, Dec. 1 (Korea Bizwire) — As demand for smoking booths continues to rise, a vaping room has been set up in downtown Seoul for e-cigarette smokers.
Philip Morris Korea Inc. said Tuesday that it had set up an outdoor smoking booth for both electronic and non-electronic cigarette smokers at the Parc 1 Tower complex in the financial district of Yeouido.
The smoking booth, consisting of a vaping room and a smoking room, is equipped with dedicated ashtrays to prevent littering in the streets.
In response to the pandemic, the booth has been designed to ensure adequate air ventilation.
The smoking booth is also covered up to conceal visitors from outside onlookers.
Despite the increasing number of e-cigarette users in the Yeouido area, there are only seven outdoor smoking booths, which has led to complaints from workers and residents.
