SEOUL, April 22 (Korea Bizwire) — On the afternoon of April 22, in celebration of Earth Day 2023, environmental artists and citizens gathered at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul to create large-scale artworks using earth paint, clay, and other materials, conveying important messages to the earth.
The event, co-hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Energy Transition Korea, centered around the theme “No Earth for Trash” and featured a “Useful Earth Playground without Any Waste” with 31 booths from youth, environmental organizations, and companies.
Participants also took part in a citizen participation game where university student supporters, the Earth Guardians, played games on topics such as carbon neutrality and recycling. Additionally, eco-friendly companies exhibited their products in a market, further promoting the importance of sustainable living.
