SEOUL, May 17 (Korea Bizwire) – Samsung Electronics announced on May 16 that it is introducing a ‘Gift Funding’ campaign to cater to consumers who desire practical gifts for special occasions.
Building upon last year’s successful ‘Bespoke Wedding Funding’ initiative targeted at engaged couples, the company has expanded the scope to encompass a broader range of significant milestones, including marriages, moving into a new home, birthdays, graduations, and enrollment in university.
Through Samsung.com, customers can select their desired product and share a gift funding participation link with their contacts. Friends and family can then contribute any amount they wish towards the collective gift, conveying their congratulations.
Samsung has implemented a split payment system, allowing participants to divide the cost among multiple individuals or use multiple cards to contribute their desired amounts.
Additionally, the campaign offers the option to send personalized message cards featuring characters from collaborations with popular brands.
“Through the Gift Funding initiative, we hope to provide a more meaningful and special way for people to express their well-wishes and gratitude,” said a Samsung Electronics representative.
