SEOUL, Sept. 25 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics Co. on Thursday unveiled a platform designed to assess the productivity of artificial intelligence (AI) models in workplace environments.

TrueBench will provide businesses with a comprehensive set of metrics to track the productivity of large language models (LLMs) in real-world workplaces, the South Korean tech giant said in a release.

“Recently, as companies adopt AI for tasks, there has been a growing demand for measuring the productivity of LLMs,” the company said.

“However, existing benchmarks primarily measure overall performance, are mostly English-centric and are limited to single-turn question-answer structures,” it added.

To address such limitations, Samsung said the platform evaluates work-related tasks, including content generation and data analysis, across 10 categories and 46 subcategories.

The service is available in 12 languages, including Korean, English and Japanese.

“Samsung Research brings deep expertise and a competitive edge through its real-world AI experience,” Cheun Kyung-whoon, chief technology officer of Samsung’s device experience division, said. “We expect TrueBench to establish evaluation standards for productivity and solidify Samsung’s technological leadership.”
