SEOUL, Jan. 22 (Korea Bizwire) — Com2uS Corp. said Wednesday that cumulative revenue from its baseball game franchises has exceeded 1 trillion won, marking a major milestone for one of South Korea’s longest-running mobile sports gaming series.
The company has built its baseball gaming business steadily since launching the original “Com2uS Pro Baseball” series in 2008, establishing a dominant position in the domestic market before expanding overseas.
Growth accelerated in 2015 with the release of a 3D version of the franchise, as Com2uS broadened its portfolio with officially licensed titles based on both the Korea Baseball Organization and Major League Baseball. The strategy helped the company emerge as a leading player in the global baseball gaming market.
Monthly active users across its baseball titles have exceeded 2.6 million at their peak — more than six times the level recorded a decade earlier. Over the past three years, the games have posted an average annual revenue growth rate of about 30 percent, underscoring their durability in an increasingly competitive mobile gaming industry.
Com2uS has continued to expand its lineup through new releases. After entering global markets in 2016 with “MLB 9 Innings,” the company added “Com2uS Pro Baseball V” in 2022 and “MLB Rivals” in 2023.
In 2025, it took its first step into the Japanese market with “Pro Baseball Rising,” based on Japan’s Nippon Professional Baseball league.
“Our long-standing development and service expertise has created a sustainable growth structure for baseball games,” said Hong Ji-woong, head producer of the franchise. He added that the company plans to further enhance gameplay quality and service competitiveness to deliver richer experiences for baseball fans worldwide.
The milestone highlights Com2uS’s ability to turn a niche sports genre into a durable global business, as mobile game publishers seek long-term franchises rather than short-lived hits.
