SEOUL, May 8 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korean boy group BigBang’s two new singles hit the top two spots of Billboard’s World Digital Songs’ chart, which was updated Thursday.
“Loser” and “Bae Bae,” both from the group’s new single album “M,” ranked No. 1 and No. 2 on the list less than a week after their release on May 1.
The two songs also sit at No. 1 and No. 2 on seven local music charts such as Melon, Mnet, Naver Music and Bugs as of Friday.
Their videos have secured nearly 25 million views in total since they were uploaded on Youtube the same day as the songs’ release.
Last month, the group launched a world concert tour in Seoul with the plan to hold some 70 concerts in 15 countries around the globe, including in Asia and the Americas, through next year.
