SEOUL, July 17 (Korea Bizwire) – Daecheong Lake in Okcheon County of North Chungcheong Province has deployed an algae-removing vessel. On July 16, K-water showcased the special vessel and demonstrated its performance.
The 1.5 ton vessel can remove floating algae in 10,000㎡ of water per hour. K-water invested 110 million won to produce the marine vessel. The government agency will use a drone to detect the algae, and deploy the vessel where it is needed.
