SEOUL, Jan. 29 (Korea Bizwire) – A corporate tracker said Friday that the number of people aged under 30 whose shareholding value surpassed 10 billion won (US$8.5 million) came to 52.
Chaebul.com said the combined shareholding value of the 52 people stood at more than 1.7 trillion won. On average, the individual shareholding value is 33.1 billion.
The elder daughter of Suh Kyung-bae, chief of South Korea’s top cosmetics maker AmorePacific Group, topped the list with 329.7 billion won. A 23-year-old grandson of Youm Hong-sub, chairman of ready-mixed concrete maker Seosan Ltd., came in the second place with 92.8 billion won. He is followed by the son of LG Group Vice Chairman Koo Bon-Joon with 69.2 billion won.
