N. Korea Unilaterally Seeks Taekwondo’s Recognition as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage

SEOUL, Aug. 9 (Korea Bizwire) –North Korea has unilaterally applied to list taekwondo, a traditional Korean martial art, as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH), the UNESCO website showed Friday.
