SEOUL, June 2 (Korea Bizwire) — A recent survey has revealed that three out of four salaried people in their 30s and 40s are worrying about losing their job due to the deterioration of the business environment resulting from the coronavirus pandemic.
JobKorea, a job portal site in South Korea, carried out a survey of 2,385 salaried individuals in their 30s and 40s, 76.4 percent of whom said they were worried about abruptly losing their job.
In particular, small business employees (78.6 percent) and female employees (77.4 percent) felt a stronger sense of uneasiness than large company employees (71.7 percent) and male employees (74.9 percent).
By job type, those engaged in sales and service (81 percent) worried the most about their job security.
Employees engaged in planning, marketing, PR (80.9 percent) and human resource management (80.8 percent) were also very worried about the possibility of abruptly losing their job.
