JEJU, Nov. 1 (Korea Bizwire) — The Jeju Olle Walking Festival, making walking tourism a new popular trend in South Korea, began this Thursday.
The festival is marking its 10th anniversary this year, inviting participants to walk one Olle course per day as they enjoy various performances and local cuisine.
Some 10,000 foreigners from the United States, Taiwan, and other countries have come to the festival, which will continue until Saturday.
The organizing committee asked participants to refrain from bringing disposable cups, spoons and chopsticks to protect the environment.
